The Valley of the Kings immortalized in a beautiful watercolor book

For centuries, nobles settled in the Loire Valley, earning it the nickname “Valley of the Kings.” And for good reason, this strategic territory and its mild climate were ideal for royal ambitions. It was from 1418 that the kings of France came to settle in the Centre-Val de Loire region, specifically in Touraine, building many iconic castles. This is why the Loire Valley is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this work, the renowned artist Fabrice Moireau captures the timeless grace of these castles and their gardens in his watercolors.
